One body at a time
Born in Romania, moved to NY at age 15.
Graduated magna cum laude and received a b.a. in anthropology. While experimenting with irish step dance for 13 years, a journey complete with competitions, shows and injuries I discovered Pilates.
In 2006 took my love of Pilates and anatomy to the next level and studied Pilates intensively with among others, renowned Joseph Pilates’ protégé, Romana Kryzanowska's daughter, Sari Mejia Santo.
Have taught classical pilates to athletes such as runners, irish dancers and martial artists as well as individuals with scoliosis, cancer survivors and overweight individuals. Continue to work alongside physical therapists and occupational therapists to explore how Pilates can be used in rehabilitation of injuries and improving the quality of life of patients.
